The app offers two different methods of gathering items. Each type has its pros and cons.

You use tags when you want to label items with a common property. For example, you can define a tag “Jazz” that you apply to songs, voicings, or scales specific to this genre.

Collections are more structured and allow to group items in an ordered fashion. You can use them to define a setlist of songs, or to print a table of guitar scales.
